We were delighted to have our Banoffee Oaties and Maple & Pecan Oaties awarded with two gold stars.

   
Our Caithness Groatiesᵀᴹ, Caithness Smoked Groatiesᵀᴹ and Vanilla Pod Shortbread were awarded a single gold star, which we were extremely pleased with.

We are extremely proud in 2010 to be the winner of the Great Taste award for Best Scottish Speciality, in recognitiion of our Traditional All Butter Shortbread, which was also awarded a three gold star award.

We were also nominated for the Great Taste Awards Ambient Product of the Year.

     

Our Viking Cake and Caithness Original Oaties were also awarded a single Gold star in the Great Taste Awards

2009

     

 

We were extremely delighted and proud to have won the Williamson Foodservice Highlands & Islands Food & Drink Award for the New Product for 2009.
These prestigious awards were organised by Highlands and Islands Food & Drink Forum and are supported by Highlands & Islands Enterprise and Scotland Food & Drink.
Our Caithness Treacle Toffee Biscuits were awarded a 1 Gold Star Great Taste Award from the Guild of Fine Foods.

2008

  

We were extremely proud to have achieved two Great Taste Awards from the Guild of Fine Foods.
Our Gold 2 Star Great Taste Award was attained for our Honey & Oat Biscuits produced for Mey Selections placing us in the top 5% of quality food producers in the UK.
Our Gold 1 Star Great Taste Award was attained for our Handmade Toasted Highland Oatcakes produced for Mey Selections.

What do these awards stand for?

The Guild of Fine Food is the UK trade association for anyone making or selling top quality local, regional and speciality food and drink.

Since 1993 the Guild has organised the Great Taste Awards, which attracts over 4500 entries each year. The GTA has gained widespread recognition among the country's retailers and consumers and is now seen as the benchmark for fine food in the UK. Those products fortunate enough to receive an award cannot only claim to be of the finest quality, but prove it too. All entries undergo rigorous tests by a specially selected panel of experts, including leading chefs, buyers, food critics and deli owners.
